I enjoy making the pruning process as simple and as free of fuss as possible for you. 

Working with sterilised and sharp cutting tools, I cut, neaten and prune each bush according to size, style and variety, and take care of all the admin you hate like removing the clippings, leaves, and thorny branches, disposing of them, and making sure your rose garden is looking as good as can be heading into springtime and summer.  

Rose Pruning

Rose Pruning Training

In-depth and informative pruning training for your gardener or yourself. 

Includes certificate and PDF/printed rose care guide.

R1200 / session (half day AM/PM)

Training is usually 1-2 hours depending on how many participants, the amount of rose bushes you have opted to prune as part of the training, and other factors like how interactive the session is (questions and answers). But as a safe bet make allowance for around 24-hours (a morning, or an afternoon)

Consultations

In-person:                    R600 / hour

Virtual / remote:           R100 / hour

 

If you are unsure about your rose garden (new or established), your plant health, soil health, worried about diseases or pest infestations, I am here to help and I consult on the topic of rose bushes on a regular basis. 

This is not a necessarily a pruning related consultation but useful and important nonetheless on your journey to having that perfect bloom come Spring and Summer, and a stunning rose garden or feature bush year in and year out. 

Consultations are often useful mid-season and in-between the main pruning times. We can also discuss the best ways to cut your flowers for displays, as well as feeding your rose bushes, watering tips and troubleshooting, just to name a few. Each and every garden, gardener, and rose bush is different and we'll work together to find solutions to all your pressing rose garden challenges.
